Description
1871 The San Silvestro winery, founded by Giovanni Sartirano, is located in the municipality of Novello, in the Barolo region. Today, the fourth-generation winemakers Paolo Sartirano and Guido Sartirano wisely, with respect for deep traditions, the research accumulated by their ancestors, purposefully represent the activities of the winery. The grapes are picked exclusively by hand. This wine is made from grapes in the upper hills of Barbera d’Asti, Alessandria. After malolactic fermentation, maceration with skins, wine with lees for maturing in stainless steel barrels. Structured, expressive, mineral, mild, fragrant, light, elegant, refreshing acid and light-bodied wine with a long-lasting aftertaste. It has scents of flowers, chamomile, citrus fruits, apricots. Roero Arneis is almost the most famous grape variety in Piedmont.
