1871 The San Silvestro winery, founded by Giovanni Sartirano, is located in the municipality of Novello, in the Barolo region. Today, the fourth-generation winemakers Paolo Sartirano and Guido Sartirano wisely, with respect for deep traditions, the research accumulated by their ancestors, purposefully represent the activities of the winery. The grapes are picked exclusively by hand. After malolactic fermentation, maceration with skins, wine for 9 months. aged in Slovenian oak barrels and 4 m. bottles to achieve a harmonious balance. Luxurious, delicate, expressive, solid, long-lasting, rich, spicy, luscious silky tannins, balanced body with long-lasting aftertaste. Characterized by cherries, cherries, spices, wild flowers, violets, chocolate, roasted hazelnuts, earthy scents.
