Salemi Pina is a farm that cultivates, processes and markets organic agri-food preserves: Sauces, Condiments, Bruschettas, Pestos and extra virgin olive oil.
The founder’s entrepreneurship journey began when she purchased a plot of land of about 10 hectares in the countryside of Sortino, in the heart of Monti Iblei, made suitable for the cultivation of olive trees and vegetables in open field according to the organic method.
The company’s purpose is to promote the knowledge and enjoyment of typical Sicilian vegetable products (Olives, Cherry Tomatoes, Eggplants, Capers, Almonds, Sundried Tomatoes, Basil, etc.) with its primary focus the health of consumers.
Over the years, in addition to the successful cultivation of vegetables in the open field with the organic method, with the support of their children Nancy and Pierpaolo, the family has also started focusing its professional and organisational skills on the transformation of the same products into organic agri-food preserves.
This led to the creation of vegetable preserves made with ingredients grown at the farm and processed according to traditional family recipes carefully revised to make them suitable for market demands, both Italian and especially foreign.
Today, the farm is a registered corporation that can meet the numerous requests for genuine products “made in Sicily”.
