Description

The history of the Medici Ermete dates back to 1890, when Ermete’s father Remigio, who owned three successful taverns decided to found a winery with the aim of making the most of the family vineyards, located between the Via Emilia and the foothills of the Enza valley. His son Ermete had slowed down the business and started a successful history of the company. It should be noted that Lambrusco was one of the first Italian wines exported to the United States in the 1980s. Today, the company owns about 80 hectares of vineyards (grown entirely organically) located in the Emilia-Romagna region.
