Walter Contato winemaker, originally from Milan in 1967. founded the winery, which to this day, represented by a new generation of winemakers, is a real pride of the Lugana region. The grapes are picked exclusively by hand. 48 hours malolactic fermentation and maceration with skins in stainless steel barrels. A well-balanced, light, refreshing, extremely mineral, delicate body wine with an extremely long-lasting aftertaste. It has fruity aromas of unripe apples, lime, wild thyme, linden flowers, oats, white pepper, lollipops. The Trebbiano grape variety is widely known and used not only in Italy but also in France for the production of Cognac and Armoniac great drinks and is called Ugni Blanc. It plays an important role in blends, along with other varieties like Colombard, Folle Blanche, through the principle of distillation. This variety is also used in the production of other wines in France – Rossan, Ugni blanc, in Spain – Viura.
